It was an early cold and rainy start to the weekend today, as Julian arrived at 8.30am, ready for a weights session at the gym. The gym session was a successful and productive one, as new levels of performance were met. Increased weight for the dumbbell press was achieved, and I felt really energised after this, both mentally and physically.
Storm Dennis was brewing and had an effect on the local residents of Braunstone Town,in particular supermarket shoppers. Trolleys were out of control in the Sainsbury's car park, as shoppers tried to handle the gushing winds (40mph).
In line with continued gym use, the healthy eating regime continues. Fruit and vegetables were on the menu replacing the former chocolate and sweet arsenal. As we left Sainsburys, a gust of wind blew an apple out of my bag, and fortunately, narrowly missed a senior citizen that was approaching.
After the chaos of Storm Dennis, Julian and I finally made it back home. A cup of coffee was well deserved. (lovely!)
One final task was due and that was to compare and select the best energy tariff. We all know that looking at energy tariffs is confusing, and the trust in suppliers, isn't the best. However, from the help of Julian's expertise, we found a deal which was cost efficient and from a supplier, that I felt comfortable in being with.
To summarise, today's events were productive.
Take care all, Until next time!
Julian (on behalf of David)
