If you think lockdown was bad, try living
with Luke
It’s been a busy few days. We’ve been
receiving several deliveries and the curtain twitching neighbours could think
something dodgy was going on in my garden. I have bought a lot of things on-line,
sometimes being stuck at home for half a day so as not to miss a 4-hour
delivery window. The deliveries were of the components for my special lockdown
project which will be revealed in a week or two.
In other news, I do wish Luke; the French
bulldog’s flatulence problems will be gone soon. You can smell him from 200 yards,
and it is one of the things I can’t escape from during lockdown. I love the dog
to pieces, but I do not want to share his personal issues. He does not
understand the concept of personal space either, I’d like him to keep his
bodily smells to himself.
I’m still missing going to the gym but
support worker Monika has been assisting me with health and fitness by assuring
I get a good deal of exercise in the evening by walking the dogs. Hopefully,
I’ll manage to keep away the 2 stones of weight I have lost recently rather than
putting them back on.
